# Mentally retardation

# Deformed ribs
# Low birth weight
# Facial deformities, including cleft plate and flat features
# Nearsightedness
# Failure of eyes to move in same direction
# Sunken nasal bridge
#Flat or absent groove between nose and upper lip
# Thin upper lip
# Opening in roof of mouth
# Small jaw
# Small brain
# Low-set or poorly formed ears
# Organ deformities
# Heart problems
# Genital malformations
# Kidney and urinary defects
# Central nervous system handicaps
# Faulty arrangement of brain cells and connective tissue
# Learning disabilities
# Short attention span
# Hyperactivity in childhood
# Poor body, hand, and finger coordination
There have been thought that a single drink can do no harm which is not true, even a single heavy drinking session can impair the development of the particular organ of the fetus, depending on the stage of development reached at that particular time. So, its best avoided. Women should leave drinking if they are trying to conceive or have just discovered that that she is pregnant.
There is no safe limit in alcohol consumption during pregnancy. Alcohol not only damages liver but also uses the B12 vitamin in the body so, its best avoided.
