According to the Daily Mail, the baby girl was born on Monday at a hospital in the suburbs of Delhi.

The one month old baby, Lali is worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess of valor, Durga, her father said Tuesday. Pilgrims in large number has visited her since her birth.

Factory worker, Vinod Kumar and his wife Sushma married in February 2007 and Lali is their first child.

Sushma, her mother, told The Hindustan Times her daughter was "just like any other child".

Adding further she said, "Initially we had some problem in accepting the child but now everything is fine.''

Sabir Ali, the director of Saifi Hospital said, "She drinks milk from her two mouths and opens and shuts all the four eyes at one time." He said he saw no need for surgery.

Lali is born with an extremely rare condition known as craniofacial duplication. In this condition a single head has two faces. All of Lali's facial features are duplicated with the exception of her ears, she has two.

As the baby is born with craniofacial duplication and has two skulls joined together, doctors feel that separating them was out of the question.

Vinod Kumar, 32, said he was apprehensive when he first saw his daughter.

He said, "I had never seen something like this in my life so naturally I was a little scared when I first saw her."

The child's father doesn't want to change the features of her daughter and is happy with the way she looks.

He says, "The doctor said everything is normal when she was born. So where's the need to get medical help?"

The baby's grandfather says lovingly, "This child is very special to us."
